Also write out the sentence on the two days indicated, in the work sheet provided. Both these worksheets must be glued into the blank homework book. */sh/ Word Family booklet: There are 4 words in this booklet. Read the 4 words from this word family. Please write a sentence for one of the words, every day. Do not do them all on one day as we want sentence writing to be a daily occurrence. Initially your child will need assistance. Tuesday	*Reading New sight words: why, when, who. *Write out Tuesday’s spelling list. *Count forward in 10’s to 100. *Write one sentence in /sh/ word in the booklet. *Jewish boys must bring a kippa for Wednesday’s Jewish Studies lessons. All children must have their Jewish Studies folder every week for the lesson. * Gr1W: Bring library books for Library tomorrow.
Wednesday	*Reading. *PT tomorrow. *New sight words: *Spelling words: Practise these by writing out the spelling list for Wednesday in the worksheet provided. Also write out the sentence for Wednesday, on the work sheet provided. *Write one sentence in /sh/ word in the booklet. *CEA: Making Comparisons. When making comparisons you must compare and contrast the objects. You must say how they are the same and how they are different. Use this to compare members of your family or Sport or a topic of your choice. *Count in 1’s from 20 – 50. **Read newsletter on the last Wednesday of every month. This is on the school website. You can request a hardcopy at Reception, from Nellie. * Gr1V: Bring library books for Library tomorrow.
Thursday.	*Reading. *Revise all sight words. *Spelling words: Practise these by writing out the list for Thursday in the worksheet provided. Also write out the sentence for Thursday, in the work sheet provided. *Write one sentence in /sh/ word in the booklet. *Count forwards and backwards in 1’s to 100. Write the numbers in your diary.
