BELLAVISTA SCHOOL HOMEWORK PROGRAMME 16-20 Feb 2015.
Monday	***Visit our blog at www.bvgrade1.blogspot.com   **Please read the “Heads Up” email, from Mrs Scott, every Monday. **PLEASE SEND VEGS TO SCHOOL TOMORROW FOR KWEZWE** *Please send pictures of things that begin with the letter /n/ as in nut.  Use Google or pictures in magazines to find the pictures. Please send a maximum of 6 pictures that will fit on an A4 page. Please do this with your child, not for him. He should be able to identify the pictures. *Please send an object that begins with the letter /n/ as in nut. It will be sent home on Friday. *PT tomorrow. New sight word: a. Try to make up games to help your child remember words. Also, see our blog for videos. **please can everyone send the following to school by Tuesday; 1x small packet of Jelly tots 1x small packet of toothpicks. We are making shapes. Thanks.
Tuesday	*Sight words: Revision * Recognition of numbers and number words: 1 one, 2 two and 3 three. **Grade 1W must please bring library books to school tomorrow for library lesson. * Spatial Awareness homework card: Children read the arrows on each line, aloud, from left to right, saying: eg, up, down, left, right. Practise this daily. Make it fun. Time them and reward them if they manage to improve their time. *Do the same with the Number Recognition homework card. *Religious studies tomorrow. ALL CHILDREN MUST HAVE THEIR JEWISH STUDIES FOLDER EVERY WEEK FOR THE LESSON. Boys must wear a kippa
Wednesday	*Please send pictures of things that begin with the letter /s/ as in sun.  Use Google or pictures in magazines to find the pictures. Please send a maximum of 6 pictures that will fit on an A4 page. Please do this with your child, not for him. He should be able to identify the pictures. *Please send an object that begins with the letter /s/ as in sun. It will be sent home on Friday. *Revise sight words. *PT tomorrow. **Read newsletter on the last Wednesday of every month. This is on the school website. You can request a hardcopy at Reception from Nellie. *Match letters with the pictures of /t/, /i/, /p/,/n/ and /s/. *Spatial Awareness and Number Recognition homework cards – as in Tuesday’s instructions. *CEA: Goal Orientation.  (First week). Discuss how goal Orientation motivates them to choose a goal they want to reach. Once they reach that goal, they will be motivated to select new goals. So, a goal could be to correctly pack your school bag the night before school so it’s ready in the morning. Once that’s attained, aim to put out your school clothes the night before, or make all/part of your school lunch yourself. Please write notes in your black CEA book and let your child do a drawing/s.
