Monday	***Visit our blog at www.bvgrade1.blogspot.com   **Please read the “Heads Up” email, from Mrs Scott, every Monday. **PLEASE SEND VEGS TO SCHOOL TOMORROW FOR KWEZWE** Revise all sounds learnt so far. Match pictures with the correct letter sound. Let children identify the letter sound without the help of the picture. *PT tomorrow. Revise all sight words. Also, see our blog for videos.
Tuesday	*Sight words: Revision * Recognition of numbers and number words: 1 one, 2 two and 3 three. **Grade 1W must please bring library books to school tomorrow for library lesson. * Spatial Awareness homework card: Children read the arrows on each line, aloud, from left to right, saying: eg, up, down, left, right. Practise this daily. Make it fun. Time them and reward them if they manage to improve their time. *Do the same with the Number Recognition homework card. *Religious studies tomorrow. ALL CHILDREN MUST HAVE THEIR JEWISH STUDIES FOLDER EVERY WEEK FOR THE LESSON. Boys must wear a kippa
Wednesday	Revise all sounds learnt so far. Match pictures with the correct letter sound. Let children identify the letter sound without the help of the picture. Revise all sight words. *PT tomorrow. **Read newsletter on the last Wednesday of every month. This is on the school website. You can request a hardcopy at Reception from Nellie. *Spatial Awareness and Number Recognition homework cards – as in Tuesday’s instructions. *CEA: Goal Orientation.  (Second week). Discuss how Goal Orientation motivates them to choose a goal they want to reach. Once they reach that goal, they will be motivated to select new goals. So, a goal could be to correctly pack your school bag the night before school so it’s ready in the morning. Once that’s attained, aim to put out your school clothes the night before, or make all/part of your school lunch yourself. Please write notes in your black CEA book and let your child do a drawing/s.
Thursday.	Half term weekend! PLEASE COLLECT YOUR CHILD AT 12 NOON. NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY. No homework! Enjoy your weekend! SCHOOL COMMENCES ON WEDNESDAY MORNING AT 7.45 AM.
